In this tutorial, learn how to remove the steering wheel on a Volkswagen Polo, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure the key is not inserted, then open the bonnet and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Next, go inside the cabin, turn the steering wheel 90 degrees, locate the indicated hole, and using a flat-head screwdriver, release the internal clip. Repeat the process on the opposite side, remove the airbag, disconnect the connector, and undo the large central bolt with an M12 spanner. At this point, you can separate the steering wheel from the steering column.
