In this tutorial we can see how to disassemble the steering wheel in the Volkswagen Polo, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted, then open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Then go inside the car, turn the steering wheel 90 degrees, locate the indicated hole, and, using a flat-tipped screwdriver, release the internal clip. Repeat the operation on the opposite side, remove the airbag, disconnect the connector, and unscrew the large central bolt with a M12 key. At this point, we can separate the steering wheel from the steering column.
