How to Remove the Steering Wheel on a Volkswagen Polo?

In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the steering wheel on a Volkswagen Polo. First, disconnect the negative terminal from the battery to avoid accidental airbag activation, then remove the upper panel of the steering column and take off the instrument cluster. Next, remove the airbag by unlocking the clips accessible from the back with a screwdriver, disconnect each internal connector, and unscrew the large central nut with a 12mm XZN key. Once done, you can remove the steering wheel from the column and fit the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
