How to Remove the Steering Wheel Airbag on a Volkswagen Polo?

To replace the steering wheel airbag on a Volkswagen Polo, rotate the steering wheel to the right and then to the left to release the two side pins at the back of the steering wheel. To disengage them, use an object like a screwdriver: once released, the airbag can be pulled out from its housing at the centre of the steering wheel, allowing you to disconnect the connectors inside. Once these connectors are detached, connect them to the new airbag, which should be secured in place using the internal clips.
