How to Remove the Radio from a VW Transporter T5

Removing the radio from the Volkswagen Transporter T5 is a straightforward task that you can do independently. You just need the right tools and to follow our video tutorial. To extract the radio from its housing, insert the four extraction keys into the slots indicated on all four sides. Once the keys are inserted, pull the radio upwards to remove it from its housing, disconnect the various connectors, and begin installing the new radio. For the installation of the new radio, you will need to remove the glove compartment from its position and pass the cables for the new radio's screen as shown in the video. Connect the new wiring and insert the radio back into its housing, then reassemble the glove compartment.
