Reset and Reprogram Volkswagen Touran Key

To reset and reprogram the key for the Volkswagen Touran, proceed as follows: 1) Remove the cover under the logo and replace the battery. 2) To ensure the key battery is charged and the key is functioning, press the buttons on it and check for the red LED light. 3) Remove the cover from the car handle and manually open the doors. 4) Insert the key into the ignition barrel, ensuring only the dashboard lights up, and keep the key in this position for a few seconds. 5) Turn off the ignition by removing the key and ensure the remote has been reprogrammed.
