How to replace the lock cylinder in the Volkswagen Amarok pick-up truck?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the lock cylinder in the Volkswagen Amarok pick-up, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, we open the door in which we will work, then we locate the bolt placed on the inner edge of the door, at the height of the lock, and unscrew it using a Torx T20 screwdriver. We then insert the key into the cylinder, rotate it counterclockwise, pull it out forcefully and remove the cylinder from the door. At this point, all that remains is to insert the replacement, if necessary, and tighten the fixing screw.
