How do you deactivate Lane Assist on the Volkswagen ID.3?

In order to deactivate the Lane Assist of the Volkswagen ID.3, you need to turn on the instrument panel, so that you can use the controls on the central display of the dashboard: here you can select the "Driver assist" option. In the screen that opens, you can find the "Lane assist" option with a blue checkmark next to it: using the appropriate touch screen controls, you can deactivate the checkmark, so that the Lane Assist is also deactivated. This can be reactivated simply by applying the checkmark again.
