How do you deactivate the passenger airbag of the Volkswagen Polo?

The deactivation of the passenger airbag of the Volkswagen Polo is done by opening the glove compartment located on the side of the front passenger: in the upper right part, you will find a lock that can be moved using the ignition key. Initially, it will point to ON indicating that the passenger airbag is active: using the key, you can move it to OFF, noticing that the airbag will be deactivated and the appropriate light will appear on the dashboard. You can reactivate the airbag simply by turning the lock again.
