How to deactivate the passenger airbag on the Volkswagen Polo?

To deactivate the passenger airbag on the Volkswagen Polo, open the glove compartment located on the passenger side. Once opened, locate the lock in the upper right part of the compartment. This will be set to ON, and by inserting the ignition key into it, you can turn it to the opposite position to set it to OFF. This will deactivate the passenger airbag, and the corresponding warning light will appear on the instrument panel; to reactivate it, simply turn the lock back.
