How to deactivate the passenger airbag on the 2011 Volkswagen Polo

Let's see how to deactivate the passenger airbag on the 2011 Volkswagen Polo: first of all, the car must be turned off to ensure that there is no accidental activation; then we open the glove compartment, where we find the key switch for the airbag. Now, we insert the car ignition key into the switch, until it reaches the end position. At this point, all that's left to do is to turn the key to the "off" position in order to deactivate the passenger airbag. This operation is necessary if we need to transport, for example, a small child in their approved car seat on the front seat. Now we check the instrument panel, which shows the passenger airbag deactivated light. We remove the key and remember to reactivate it when this functionality is no longer needed.
