How do you deactivate the safe lock of the Volkswagen Golf?

In order to deactivate the safe lock on a Volkswagen Golf, it is necessary to connect a diagnostic tool to the OBD port of the vehicle: this port is located just below the steering column. Once the scanner is connected to the port, you will need to select the car model and corresponding version. For resetting the indicator light, it is recommended to follow all the instructions provided in the video. Once the operation is completed, you can disconnect the scanner and turn off the ignition by turning the key.
