To remove the front headlamp of a Volkswagen Golf 6, open the bonnet to access the screws securing the headlamp from the top. Once the top screws are loosened, you can also unscrew those securing the bumper, completely detaching it from its housing.

This will allow you to access the screws securing the headlamp from the bottom, enabling you to remove the headlamp unit from its position.

Disconnect the connectors at the back and insert the new headlamp.
