How to Remove the Door Panel of the 9th Generation Polo

How to remove the door handle of your Polo? This video illustrates the procedure. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the front engine bay. Using a plastic spatula, pry at the handle that includes the window switch buttons and disconnect the power cables. To unscrew the torx screws located under the internal door handle, use a screwdriver, taking care not to scratch it. With the plastic spatula, release all the clips around the perimeter of the door panel, then pull it away by hand. Now disconnect the cable for the opening lever, the window switch connectors, and the speaker connectors. Be careful not to lose any of the clips located behind the removed plastic panel.
