In this video, we see that on this Volkswagen, the switch for the left front window does not go up or down because it is likely broken. The YouTuber disconnects it from its connector and opens it to see if it can be repaired.

Inside the switch, a lot of dirt had accumulated, and after cleaning it, he lifted the metal tabs that allow the window to open/close. Reconnecting it to its electrical connector shows that the switch works again, so with a simple zero-cost intervention, we managed to solve the problem.
