How to Replace the Stereo in a Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

First, purchase a suitable adapter for the antenna cable, a new surround for your stereo, and possibly an adapter for the power and control connectors. Use a plastic lever to lift the edge of the stereo, giving you access to the screws that secure it. Remove the stereo to extract the entire unit, disconnect the plugs and cables at the back, and install them on the new stereo, connecting them with the various adapters if necessary. Then, retrace your steps to reassemble.
