How do you reset the Service light on the Volkswagen New Beetle?

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012

The Service indicator that appears on the instrument panel of the Volkswagen New Beetle can be reset by pressing and holding the 0.0/SET button located in the center of the instrument panel while it is turned off. While continuing to hold down the button, you can insert the key into the corresponding slot and turn it to turn on the instrument panel: at this point, you must continue to hold down the 0.0/SET button until the reset of the indicator is complete. Once the reset is complete, you can then turn off the instrument panel and remove the key.
