The service light indicates the need for a vehicle to undergo its scheduled service based on mileage. After completing the service operations, you must reset the light.

To reset the service light on the Volkswagen New Beetle, turn on the ignition and press the menu button located on the left side of the steering wheel to access the settings menu. Use the arrow keys to scroll through the menu until you select "SERVICE". After selecting "RESET", confirm your choice.

To complete the operation, turn off and then turn on the ignition.
