In order to reset the Service light on the Volkswagen New Beetle, you need to turn on the instrument panel by turning the key inside the ignition switch. Once the panel is on, you can navigate through the menu using the directional controls on the right side of the steering wheel. Scroll until you select the "Service" option by pressing the OK button. Then, select the "Reset" option and confirm the message that appears. At this point, you can turn off and on the instrument panel to verify that the reset has been successful.
