Where are the fuses located in the Volkswagen Passat?

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010

The fuse box of the Volkswagen Passat is located in the engine compartment between the battery and the fender pillar on the driver's side. To access the fuses, we release the cover from the upper tabs, remove it, and find the fuses. Meanwhile, in the cabin, the fuse box is located on the door jamb panel on the driver's side. To access the fuses, we insert a small flathead screwdriver into the appropriate slot, pry and remove the cover at the end of the dashboard. To replace a fuse, we locate it based on the component to be replaced, grab it with small pliers, pull it out, check if the bridge inside is broken, in which case the fuse needs to be replaced, otherwise if the bridge inside is intact, the fuse is working. If the fuse needs to be replaced, replace it with one of the same amperage.
