How do you replace the door lock of the Volkswagen Tiguan?

In order to replace the door lock of the Volkswagen Tiguan, you need to open the door to have access to the side hole. Inside this slot, you will find a screw that needs to be loosened and completely removed. Once the screw has been loosened, you can remove the lock from its housing by pulling it out from the inside, disconnecting it from the handle. Once the new lock has been inserted into its housing, you can secure it with the side screw and check its operation.
