The procedure to reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Golf 5 involves pressing the button located on the right side of the instrument panel, which is labeled "0.0". You will need to hold down this button while the instrument panel is off; continuing to hold it down, you will need to insert the ignition key into the corresponding slot and turn it to turn on the instrument panel. Once the panel is turned on, you will be able to see that the Service light will turn off after a few moments; at this point, you can release the button and turn off the panel.
