How to remove the car radio from a Volkswagen Touareg?

Model: Volkswagen Touareg MK 1, 7L - Years 2002-2010

To remove the radio from a Volkswagen Touareg, start by disconnecting the vehicle's battery to avoid short circuits. Use a plastic tool to carefully remove the frame surrounding the radio, levering gently to avoid damage. Once the frame is removed, locate the radio's fixing screws. These screws are usually located on the sides of the unit. Use a suitable screwdriver to unscrew and remove the screws. With the screws removed, grab the radio and pull it towards you carefully. You should feel it loosen from its housing. At this point, you will see the electrical connectors on the back of the radio. Carefully disconnect these connectors, being careful not to damage the wires. Some connectors may have a release tab that needs to be pressed to disconnect them. Once all the connectors are disconnected, the radio will be completely free and you can remove it from the dashboard. If you need to replace it, install the new unit following the steps in reverse order.
