To remove the front seat of a Volkswagen Golf, start by sliding the seat all the way back to access the front mounting screws. Unscrew these screws using an appropriate spanner.

Next, slide the seat all the way forward to access the rear screws and remove them. Once all screws are removed, tilt the seat backwards to access the electrical connectors underneath.

Carefully disconnect the connectors, taking care not to damage the wires. You may also need to remove any clips or fasteners securing the wires to the seat.

At this point, lift the seat and carefully remove it from the cabin to avoid scratching the interior parts of the vehicle. Before reinstalling the seat, ensure that all electrical connections are intact and that the rails are clean.
