How do you deactivate the anti-theft alarm of the Volkswagen Polo?

In order to deactivate the anti-theft alarm of the Volkswagen Polo, you need to connect a diagnostic tool to the OBD port of the vehicle: this port will be located on the dashboard immediately below the steering column. Once the connection has been made, you will need to select the model of the car and the corresponding version: by doing so, you will be able to follow the operation to ensure that the alarm is disarmed. Once the procedure is completed, you will need to use the remote control to verify that everything is working correctly.
