How to calibrate the air flaps of the climatronic in a Volkswagen Passat B8

In this video we can see how to perform the basic settings of the air vents of the Volkswagen Passat B8, with the touch version of the climatronic, without the need to use the OBD11 diagnostic interface. We will need to turn on the ignition, simultaneously press the A/C and air distribution buttons. After a certain number of seconds (generally between 3 and 5), the LED indicators will start flashing. We will release the buttons and wait for the completion of the basic setting procedure. At the end of the calibration, the LEDs will return to their normal state. The same procedure can be applied to other Volkswagen cars equipped with the same Touch climatronic system.
