How to Check the Oil Level on a Volvo

Learn how to check the oil level on a Volvo (in this case, it is an XC60, but on recent models of this brand, the oil level is no longer checked with a dipstick, but through a digital display). Turn on the instrument cluster and press the "OK" button on the steering wheel (usually located on the left side). Also on the left side, you will find a knob that allows you to navigate the menu until you see "oil". Press "OK" to select, and the display will show the oil level. Pay attention to a few details: the engine must be off, as the electronic check requires the ignition on but the engine off; of course, the car must be perfectly level. Check the owner's manual, as some models require the oil to be at operating temperature.
