How to Reset the Service Light on Volvo V70?

Model: Volvo V70 MK 1 - Years 1996-2000

To clear the service light on the Volvo V70, you need to press and hold the button located at the bottom centre of the instrument panel while it is off: while holding the button, you can insert the ignition key into the corresponding slot. Turning it will then power on the dashboard, and continue to hold the button until the light is cleared: at this point, you can release the button and finish the operation by turning off the instrument panel.
