If the headlights have become particularly yellowed and cloudy, you can restore them with a dedicated polishing kit. Open the hood and apply masking tape around the headlight to avoid staining the bumper and fender. Sand the headlight with an orbital sander and the provided sandpaper until the headlight is completely dulled: multiple passes with different grit sandpapers may be necessary.

Next, polish the headlight with the appropriate pastes and pads, also provided in the kit, until achieving a satisfactory shine.
