How to Reset the Service Light on a Volvo XC40?

Model: Volvo Xc40 MK 1 - Years 2017-2026
Part: Service warning light

You can completely clear the Service light displayed on the instrument cluster of the Volvo XC40 by pressing and holding the button located on the left side of the steering wheel while the instrument cluster is completely off. Continue holding the button until you access the instrument cluster, waiting a few seconds for a message indicating that the reset is in progress to appear; when the message shows that the maintenance interval has been reset, you can release the button on the steering wheel. To complete the operation, turn off the instrument cluster by removing the key from the ignition.
