How to Reprogram the Power Window of a Volvo

The procedure described is not only valid for Volvo cars but for most modern vehicles. This procedure is necessary when disconnecting or replacing the battery, as the power to the window is interrupted, causing the window to lose its memory of the end stop points. The goal is to teach the control unit the exact points of complete closure and opening. Turn on the ignition, fully close the window, and hold the button for 2-3 seconds while the window is fully closed. Now fully open the window and hold the button for 2-3 seconds while the window is fully open. Test the functionality. This procedure must be repeated on the other three windows.
