How to Program Your Garage Door Opener Directly from Your Volvo V60

In this video, see how to program the opening and closing of your garage door directly from the HomeLink system in your Volvo V60 using your device and the rearview mirror, without using an additional remote. Point the garage door remote at the HomeLink button you want to program and hold it for three seconds a few inches away from the button. On the HomeLink, hold both the remote button and the button to be reprogrammed: do not release the button until the light changes from a slow blink to a fast blink (or a steady light, indicating programming is complete). Press the programming button twice to activate. If the light blinks rapidly, additional steps may be needed. Locate the programming button on the garage door receiver: it is usually near the antenna bracket on the receiver. Press and release the programming button on the receiver once, then press and release the button on the HomeLink you wish to program.
