On many high-end cars, the oil level is no longer checked through the dipstick located inside the engine compartment. This does not mean that it no longer exists, but it is reserved for service personnel.

For users, checking the oil level is done electronically, as on this Volvo V60: we insert the key, press the start button, do not press the brake pedal (it is an automatic transmission). the instrument panel will light up. We go to the left side where the turn signal lever is located, press the command for consent and the oil level screen appears.

We press the confirm button, and the oil level appears.

To reset. Always on the lever, there is a reset button, then a confirm button.
