How to Replace the Key Battery of the Volvo V60

The steps to replace the battery inside your Volvo V60 key (first series, model years 2010-2018) are nearly identical to those for other brands in the industry. First, remove the physical emergency key and use a flathead screwdriver to take off the rear cover. Next, locate the exhausted battery situated just underneath and gently remove it. Finally, insert the new button battery (model CR 2430) and reattach the rear cover. Test the functionality, and you're done.
