Removing the Brake Light on a Volvo S40

Model: Volvo S40 MK 2 - Years 2004-2012

To remove the brake light on this vehicle, first, open the boot. Inside, towards the brake lights, you need to remove a fabric cover. Once the cover is removed, you can extract the inner part of the brake light containing the bulbs by gently pressing inward on the two release tabs; now you can replace the blown bulbs. Once the bulbs are replaced, reinsert the inner part of the brake light into its housing (ensuring the release tabs are securely closed). Reposition the fabric cover, and you are done.
