How to Replace the Side Dashboard Bulb on a Volvo S40

Model: Volvo S40 MK 1 - Years 1995-2004

Before starting, sit in the driver's seat of your Volvo S40. Begin by unscrewing and removing the screws that secure the side dashboard section, then unclip and remove it. Next, disconnect the relevant electrical connector. After that, unclip the clips securing the internal cover of the side dashboard. This will give you access to the back of the blown bulb. Now, unscrew and remove the blown side dashboard bulb, completing the disassembly. To install the new bulb, simply follow these steps in reverse, and you will have finished the replacement.
