Removing Gear Knob on Volvo S40, C30, V50

In this short video tutorial, you will learn how to remove and replace the gear knob on various Volvo models such as the S40, C30, and V50 in simple steps. The video shows the part already removed, but you can also proceed with it installed in the car. First, remove the gear gaiter by unclipping it from the sides. Then, remove the gear knob by unscrewing it and pulling it upwards with force. Next, fit the new knob into the gaiter and tighten the ring at the edge between the gaiter and the knob, as shown in the video. Finally, reassemble the two components by inserting them onto the gear stick and securing them properly!
