How to remove the external wing mirror of a Volvo V50? Let's look at disassembling the mirror parts. Pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Continue prying until the mirror detaches from the base of the mirror (disconnect the power cable). Once the old mirror is removed, replace the damaged piece with the new one. Ensure the plastic clips snap into place in the mirror supports. Adjust the mirror using the levers or control buttons at the end of the installation.
