How to Remove the Instrument Cluster of the Volvo S80?

To replace the instrument cluster of the Volvo S80, use a screwdriver as a lever to remove the plastic cover located under the instrument cluster and immediately above the steering column. This will allow you to loosen the screws underneath and those located at the bottom of the upper cover of the instrument cluster. Now, insert the screwdriver between the instrument cluster and its housing to lever and extract the piece. This can be completely removed after disconnecting the connectors at its rear.
