Replacement of the Rocker Cover Gasket

When replacing the rocker cover gasket, it is very important to thoroughly clean the gasket seat on both the cylinder head side and the cover side, removing any dirt and debris that could compromise adhesion and sealing. Once cleaning is complete, position the gasket along the groove on the edges of the cover, apply gasket sealant at the corners between the flat surface and the rounded surface, where the camshaft oil seal sits; finally, fit the cover and tighten the securing bolts.
