How to Adjust the Parking Brake on a Volvo XC90?

In this tutorial, you will see how to adjust the parking brake on a Volvo XC90, a very simple operation. First, position yourself in the back seat, then remove the end part of the center console by pulling the lever located in the lower slot. Next, carefully pry off the indicated panel using a plastic trim tool, unscrew the indicated screws, remove the entire console, and locate the adjuster on the left side. At this point, engage the parking brake, hold the mechanism in place, and adjust the cable length by loosening or tightening the adjuster.
