To reset the service light on a Volvo XC70, press and hold the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster. While continuing to hold the button, insert the ignition key into the lock to turn on the instrument cluster.

Keep holding the button on the right of the instrument cluster until the service light is completely reset. After resetting the light, release the button; by switching off and then on the instrument cluster, you can verify that the reset has occurred.
