To disable the immobiliser on the Volvo V70, you need to completely remove the module that activates this security system: this module is located inside the cabin. To reach it, you must detach the cover at the bottom of the steering column: this will make the module visible, which should be disconnected from its connectors by unscrewing the screws that secure it in place. By also disconnecting the connectors, you will notice that the immobiliser is disabled, and you should ensure that everything functions correctly.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
