To replace the cabin fan on a Volvo S40, open the glove compartment located on the passenger side. Once opened, loosen the screws securing it to its housing and remove it completely. After removing the glove compartment, locate the fan on the left side. Disconnect the power cables and loosen the support screws to fully remove the old fan. Insert the new fan, ensuring everything functions correctly.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
