Removing the Front Door Panel

Model: Volvo S80 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Door trim panel

The tools required for this operation are: a flat-blade screwdriver, a T25 Torx key, and a spatula. Remove the mirror cover on the pillar. Dismantle the handle cover and unscrew the two retaining screws. Remove the plastic clips from the panel and, using the spatula, gently pry the panel away from the edges, taking care to lift it upwards. Disconnect the handle cables and electrical contacts by unplugging the connectors, ensuring not to pull them. Refit the new panel starting with the connection of the electrical cables. Position the panel upwards and then push it down until it clicks into place. Reattach the cables, connectors, and screws.
