This brief video guide shows the steps to reset the maintenance light on a Volvo S40, a second-generation model produced from 2004 onwards. Start the procedure by pressing and holding the left button on the speedometer, then turn on the vehicle's ignition without starting the engine.

You will see the yellow "i" light start to flash; continue holding the left button until this light has flashed five times, as shown in the video, to complete the task.
