Resetting the service in the Volvo S40, as we can see in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, we must have completed all the scheduled maintenance work required. Let's start by going inside the cabin, then insert the key but leave it in the initial position. Press and hold the left button on the dashboard, simultaneously turn on the instrument panel and keep the button in position for the necessary time until the yellow "i" stops flashing. Complete the operation by restarting the vehicle.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother.
