In this tutorial we can see how to replace the battery of the Volvo S40 remote control, an extremely simple and quick operation. To do this we will need a small screwdriver with a cross tip and a replacement battery of type CR2032. First of all, we extract the emergency metal key by pressing the appropriate button, then we locate the screw on the back, unscrew it and separate the two halves of the remote control. We then remove the old battery, insert the replacement one taking care to respect the polarity and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
