If you need to replace the battery and want to avoid the risk of disconnecting the terminals and causing any control unit or device in the vehicle to go into protection mode, proceed as shown in the video, by applying jump leads to the terminals connected to an auxiliary battery. Once the fixing bolts of the terminals are loosened, before disconnecting them, attach the clips of the jump leads to an auxiliary battery, ensuring the correct polarity; at this point, you can remove the terminals, take out the old battery, place the new one, and reposition the terminals still connected to the clips of the jump leads: only after correctly inserting the terminals can you disconnect the clips. This way, the control units and electronic devices will remain powered, even during the battery removal.
