How to open the blocked fuel door on the Volvo S80?

In the Volvo S80, it is possible for the fuel door to become stuck, for example due to a problem with the lock actuator or the control button. In these cases, we can perform the emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial. First, we unlock the doors, then we open the trunk and remove the panel from the right side wall. Next, we locate the actuator, grab the pin, and push it inwards to unlock the lock. At this point, it will be possible to refuel.
