Where is the fuel filter located in the Volvo S40?

Model: Volvo S40 MK 1 - Years 1995-2004

In this video we can see where the fuel filter is located in the Volvo S40 and how to proceed in case we need to replace it. As shown, the filter is located in the lower left area of the vehicle, right in front of the rear wheel. To access it and then remove it, we first lift the same side, taking all necessary safety measures, then remove the indicated plastic cover. We then disconnect the two tubes, unhook the filter from the support and position the replacement. Finally, we follow the reverse procedure to reassemble everything.
